Hi There, Again!
I’m Sheila, founder of And Then She Did and your guide for soulful women’s hiking adventures in Sedona. Over the years, I’ve led hundreds of women through transformative journeys that go beyond hiking, blending expert-led adventure, mindful travel, sisterhood, and deep self-discovery.
Whether we’re exploring Sedona’s sacred vortexes or sharing quiet moments in nature, I’m here to support and empower you every step of the way. With a background in women’s group facilitation, wellness travel, and outdoor leadership, I create spaces where you feel seen, strong, and renewed.
I believe deeply in nature’s power to heal and transform—and in the magic that happens when women say “yes” to themselves and step into their power. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or new to adventure, you belong here.
These judgment-free, soul-filled retreats leave you with lasting friendships, unforgettable memories, and a stronger, more radiant you. If your heart is calling, trust it, because I can’t wait to guide you. Let’s get to know each other!
With love from the desert,

No need to stress! I’ll send you a handy packing list and suggested pre-trip exercises to help you feel strong, confident, and fully prepared for the adventure ahead.

Not at all! Many of my guests are first-time hikers. As long as you're comfortable walking at a steady pace (about 30 minutes per mile), you'll be just fine—and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
-
The hikes are designed for all levels, ranging from 3 to 6 miles per day with some elevation (up to 600 feet). The terrain is rocky and uneven, but that’s part of the magic—these trails will take your breath away in more ways than one!
-
Yoga is a fantastic way to recharge, but it’s totally optional! You’re welcome to join in or simply enjoy the hikes—whatever feels right for you.
-
You won’t be left behind! I always encourage a relaxed pace. If you need a break, take it—no pressure. I want you to enjoy the experience, not rush through it. If you need to skip a hike or take a rest day, I'll support you in finding the right solution.
-
The price covers everything you need for an unforgettable Sedona experience: your accommodation, delicious meals, guided hikes, and activities. For any optional add-ons (like transportation), I'll let you know in advance.
-
I host Sedona adventures all year round, each offering a unique opportunity to connect with Sedona's magic. Check out the dates of the upcoming Sedona Adventures and find the one that speaks to your heart.
-
Absolutely! If you’d like to soak in even more of Sedona’s beauty, I can help arrange extra nights at the retreat location. Just let me know!
-
My Sedona Adventures are for women (18+) from all walks of life. Whether you're 25, 40, or 65—if you're in good health and comfortable hiking at a moderate pace, you're welcome here. These experiences are crafted to uplift and empower women at every stage of life.
I keep the groups intentionally small—just 12 women—to create a close-knit, supportive environment where deep connection happens naturally.
Not sure if it’s right for you? Just reach out. I’d love to help guide you to the perfect adventure.
