Helping Women Rediscover Their Power Through Nature & Sedona Adventures

Sheila’s Journey – The Heart Behind Your Sedona Adventure

 Hi, I’m Sheila!

Founder of And Then She Did

More than a decade ago, I asked myself a simple, soul-shaking question that changed everything: Is this the life I truly want?

I had success on paper, but my heart felt disconnected. So I made a bold move. I left the life I had built… and built a new one rooted in nature, adventure, and authenticity.

I found peace in quiet trails, clarity under Sedona’s big skies, and strength in doing things I once thought were impossible.

Now, I guide other women to do the same.

I came to Sedona feeling burned out and unsure. I left with clarity, courage, and new sisters. Sheila didn’t just guide us through nature—she helped guide me back to myself.

Sedona Is More Than a Place

And That’s Why I Created These Sedona Adventures For Women

After leading over 50 women’s adventures with REI, I witnessed the transformation that happens when women disconnect from the noise and reconnect with their true nature. So when REI’s adventure division closed in 2025, I knew I had to keep going.

These Sedona Women’s Adventures are for every woman who’s ever thought… ‘‘There has to be more to life than this.”

 But Why Sedona?

Sedona isn’t just beautiful. Sedona is powerful.

Its iconic red rocks, healing vortexes, and endless skies create a space where women naturally open up, let go, and come home to themselves.

It’s where I realized guiding could be my calling. It’s where I camped with my pug, Stitch, and found clarity on a quiet trail. It’s where one conversation lit a fire in me that hasn’t gone out since.

Sedona cracked me open, and now, I help other women let it do the same.
